The project CoviBlock is a short-term application technological innovation initiative related to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It is about the development of modular, flexible, scalable and low cost gas dispersion, vaporization or pulverization systems to create "low contagion risk areas" in different types of spaces, especially hospitals. At the same time, part of the devices developed and installed will serve to develop new lines of research to improve environmental treatment, in order to progressively improve the health security of the "low contagion risk areas".
What is a virus?
A virus is any of a large group of submicroscopic infectious agents that are usually regarded as nonliving extremely complex molecules, that typically contain a protein coat surrounding an RNA or DNA core of genetic material but no semipermeable membrane, that are capable of growth and multiplication only in living cells, and that cause various important diseases in humans, animals, and plants.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.

What is being sought is the development of rapidly applicable technological solutions that can be constantly updated with new research results, always with the aim of improving the global health situation and also facilitating habitual economic activity. Public and private institutions sharing an interest in the development of this innovative action participate in the project.
